On Sunday, October 2, 2011, the youth from Christ Church went on an Ecological Scavenger Hunt at Elmwood Park in Norristown. Objective: armed with trash bags and gloves, pick up any litter on the grounds. The event, sponsored by Christ Church Board of Christian Education is inkeeping with their overall theme of “Year of Service.”

Enthusiasm was abundant throughout the teams during the clean-up at the park. Prizes were awarded by Chick-fil-A® in Audubon. Norristown recreation was very grateful for the teams’ efforts.

Gotta get fueled up before the big hunt.
